The presidential office welcomed the Democratic Party's stance when it said it agreed with the government's proposal to suspend taxation on virtual assets for two years.

A key official from the presidential office told reporters today (1st) that if the grace period is actually implemented, it will be of great help to investors.

The Democratic Party reaffirmed its position that impeachment that destroys the constitutional order should not be carried out in order for the Democratic Party to report the impeachment of three prosecutors, including Choi Sang-sa, chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection, and Lee Chang-soo, head of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, to the plenary session tomorrow (2nd).

He added that the Democratic Party's reckless impeachment drive against law enforcement agencies is a political impeachment that violates constitutional order, adding that the Democratic Party will not lose its reason to that extent.

In addition, he said he would monopolize the investigation and prosecution by sitting all four candidates recommended by the National Assembly in the revision of the rules for the permanent special prosecution, which was enforced by the Democratic Party of Korea.
