There are four main branches that the prosecution has been investigating.
The first charge of violating the Political Fund Act, which was applied to the arrest of Myung Tae-kyun and former lawmaker Kim Young-sun.
On top of that, suspicions of meddling in the nomination led by former lawmaker Kim Young-sun.
And allegations of manipulation of public opinion polls conducted by the Future Korea Research Institute, where Myung is known to be the real owner.
Lastly, it is suspected that Myung was involved in the process of designating Changwon's second national industrial complex.
The arrest dates for Myung and Kim in custody are 5 days and 3 days, respectively,
The prosecution plans to prosecute both people at the same time in time for the arrest of former lawmaker Kim.
The indictment states that Myeong exchanged 76 million won in exchange for former lawmaker Kim's nomination for violating the Political Fund Act.
After the first prosecution, the prosecution plans to continue the investigation and further prosecute the remaining suspicions.
Prosecutors say they have secured sufficient data by confiscating and searching the central headquarters of the People's Power to confirm suspicions of intervening in the nomination, led by former lawmaker Kim.
In addition, they say they have called Kang Hye-kyung more than 10 times to investigate the alleged manipulation of the poll and closely examine the facts.
Suspicions of involvement in the Changwon National Industrial Complex were also raided by Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Government, and people who bought the land with information in advance.
The prosecution, which has been divided into three teams to investigate, reportedly analyzed the data secured on weekends and holidays.
When the analysis of the confiscated material is completed, it is only left to determine who and what charges to prosecute.
