A day before the plenary session of the National Assembly, the president's office criticized the Democratic Party as a tyranny of the majority party to force through next year's budget, which only reflected the opposition party's opinion on reducing the amount.
He warned that if a problem arises, the Democratic Party of Korea will be held accountable, and said that he will start negotiations only when the opposition party withdraws the reduction alone, as the ruling party claims.

When the Democratic Party refused to budge on its intention to deal with the budget bill that only reflected the reduction, the presidential office set the day that the opposition party is pushing ahead with the budget rush following the legislative rush.
In particular, he criticized the reduction of the investigative agency's special activities and reserves for unexpected disasters as an act that paralyzes the state's function.
[Jeong Hye-jeon / Spokesperson for the Presidential Office: It will also significantly disrupt the maintenance of basic functions of the country, such as drastically reducing reserves to prevent immediate response to disasters and disasters in the summer]
The president's office was concerned that it would be difficult to respond to changes in the trade environment, such as the launch of a new administration in the United States, if the Democratic Party's budget plan for next year is followed.
[Jeong Hye-jeon / Presidential Office Spokesperson: If the opposition party's unilateral budget cuts cause problems in people's livelihoods, security, and diplomacy, and damage to the public, it is entirely the responsibility of the opposition Democratic Party.]
In response to the Democratic Party's demand that the government come up with an amendment if the budget needs to be increased, they said they would negotiate the increase only after withdrawing the budget reduction.
He shared his position with floor leader Choo Kyung-ho of the People's Power and made it clear that the "pre-budget plan will be withdrawn."
The president's office responded that it is reasonable to put it in next year's budget as much as possible if there is such a reason for the opposition party's argument to draw up an extra budget if there is an objection to the reduction.
As multiple presidential office officials say it is impossible to draw up an extra budget early next year, the possibility of a change in the government's fiscal stance is low at present.
