Heysus, who made his KBO League debut in Kiwoom uniform this year, signed a total of $1 million with kt, including an annual salary of $800,000.
Heyesus started 30 games this year, going 13-11 with an ERA of 3.68, and finishing second in the league with 178 strikeouts.
The kt club said Heyesus is a proven pitcher and expected him to play a one-two punch in next year's starting lineup.
