7 car crashes in 1st and 2nd highway accidents...6 Injured

A total of six people were injured after a collision on the highway led to a second accident.

At around 7 p.m. yesterday (1st), a car driving on the second lane near the Donginju Interchange on the Suncheon-Wanju Expressway in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, collided with a vehicle in the first lane while trying to change lanes.The car stopped on the shoulder due to the impact of the

accident, when another vehicle that was following hit it, and two people were lightly injured in the process.

Half an hour later, a second accident occurred in which four other cars that followed were involved in a series of crashes in the aftermath of the accident.One driver was seriously injured, including a broken ankle, and three others were slightly injured in the

accident, all of which are not known to be life-threatening.

Police are investigating the details of the accident based on black boxes and driver statements.
