When the Democratic Party of Korea announced that it would pass the opposition party's sole reduction plan at the plenary session following the National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, the People's Power reiterated that there was no additional negotiation on hostage taking.

Representative Han Dong-hoon stressed at the Supreme Council that the Democratic Party of Korea's reduction of police special activity expenses used for security while maintaining the National Assembly's special activity expenses shows that it has a far-from-the-public view.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho also criticized the Democratic Party for leaving room for negotiations on the premise of the government's amendment, saying that this is a typical Lee Jae-myung-style politics that is different from the outside and the inside.

Supreme Council member Jang Dong-hyuk also pointed out that the Democratic Party of Korea should take responsibility for the single handling of the reduction plan, and that the people did not send it to the National Assembly to sprinkle salt on the people hurt by difficult people's livelihoods.

Supreme Council member Kim Jae-won said, "The Democratic Party's intention is to demand an increase in the budget they want," and said he hopes the government and the ruling party will not respond to unfair demands that even take the budget hostage.
