Disney, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, has succeeded in rebounding in earnings after the dark age, signaling the robustness of the content empire.

The strategy is to continue this momentum with series follow-ups familiar to fans and Asia-Pacific local content.

Reporter Kim Seung-hwan reports from Singapore.

[Reporter] Actor Anthony Markey, the new captain who inherited the armband of
Captain America, greets you.

Amid a series of sluggish Marvel series recently, he has been eager to promote his work to be released in February next year.

[Ansoni Markey / 'Captain America: Brave New World' Starring: It's a unique journey. No character has ever had this journey. In addition to being loyal to the country, I salute Steve Rogers (invitation Captain American).]

As such, Disney will focus on content follow-ups with some guaranteed success, such as "Mupasa: The Lion King" and "Moana 2" later this year and next year.

OTT also announced 10 new Korean works leading the Asia-Pacific region.

[Carol Choi / Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific Original Content Strategy Director: 9 of the top 15 highest performing contents (last year) were Korean works. This is proof that Korean content is popular around the world.]

The headquarters of the Emmy-winning drama series "Shogun" and Japanese content are also considered the backbone of the Asia-Pacific strategy.

[Yuya Yagira/ Starring in the "Gannibal" series: We'll take the lead and boost the energy of the J-drama with the energy of "Shogun"]

Disney has attracted more than 500 people from 12 countries, including more than a hundred Korean journalists, at the Asia-Pacific event.

We are interested in whether Disney's strategy of staying true to its original purpose of content that seeks pleasure rather than message will attract a fandom that has been somewhat sluggish recently.

I'm YTN Kim Seung Hwan from Singapore.
