Secretary-General Choi said, "I understand that the main reason for impeachment is that the former government is subject to targeted audit and the current government is giving a favor," adding, "The Board of Audit and Inspection is conducting a fair audit without political consideration regardless of the government."

He refuted the allegations that he violated political neutrality by mentioning the audits that the opposition party raised in question.
