Ahead of the release of season 2 of the Netflix drama 'Squid Game', a live-action event was held in the drama.
The 456 participants of
all wore green training suits and played the game with motion-sensing sensors attached, as in the drama.
From the creepy tagger robot "Younghee" to the host staff wearing black masks and red uniforms, the participants' facial expressions are very serious.
It is said that if the host staff made any mistakes, they were dragged out, and there were a number of participants who couldn't even wipe their runny noses in the cold weather.
The event was organized by Netflix France in cooperation with the Champs-Elysees Committee, a public and private organization consultative body, to promote Squid Game Season 2, which will be released on the 26th.
The 456 people who participated in the
game were known to be randomly drawn drama fans, while other spectators watched the game from special stands set up on both sides of the Champs-Elysees Street.
The Squid Game, which topped Netflix's popularity list with Season 1 three years ago and gave director Hwang Dong-hyuk the first Korean Emmy Award.
