Asiana Airlines sent the wrong boarding gate for the flight departing for Kumamoto, Japan, to 104 instead of 14 on Friday last week, and Lee's family, who saw the app and went to the wrong boarding gate, missed the flight.
Asiana Airlines explained that the boarding gate number was sent incorrectly the day before departure, but the boarding gate was properly informed on the day of departure.
It also said that the passengers were transported to their destinations via domestic third-party flights and would provide convenience for the return process.
