The Ministry of Education unveiled 76 elementary, middle, and high school AI textbooks that passed the test for teachers to see through the website of the Korea Textbook Research Foundation, and demonstrated the driving scenes of two English textbooks.
It focused on visualizing and providing students' learning progress and evaluation results to teachers, and AI analyzes each student's level and allows customized learning.
After the demonstration, questions were asked about the possibility of AI's inappropriate answers or the controversy over the increase in teacher workload.
In response, the Ministry of Education and publishers emphasized that AI has been verified to prevent incorrect answers, and explained that it is difficult to say that teachers' workload increases due to the ease of students' level recognition and various evaluation tasks.
Like book-type textbooks, each school will select AI textbooks for each subject and use AI textbooks for actual classes from March.
