An amendment to the Welfare of the Elderly Act, which allows the government to support corrosion for five-day school meals at senior citizen centers, has passed the plenary session of the National Assembly.

Under the existing law, the government could not prepare side dishes because it could only subsidize grain purchases, but the amendment stipulated that the state or local governments could also contribute to the cost of corrosion.

At the plenary session, an amendment to the Elderly Jobs Act was also approved that set the wage level for jobs for the elderly above the minimum wage.
