Lufthansa initially said it would suspend Tel Aviv flights until the 15th of this month, but extended them again.
Flights to and from Tehran, Iran, will also be suspended until January 31 next year, while Beirut, Lebanon, will not travel until February 28 next year.
The move is interpreted as a consideration of the situation in which sporadic attacks by Israeli forces have continued since the 60-day temporary ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which began on the 27th of last month.
The Lufthansa Group, based in Cologne, Germany, includes Eurowings, Swiss Airways, Austrian Airlines and Discovery Airlines.
