Uncertainty in the global market will continue next year, but it is expected to capture export opportunities amid artificial intelligence, supply chain reorganization, and Hallyu fever.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy held a global market inspection meeting in 2024 presided over by Trade Minister Jeong In-kyo.

First of all, it is expected that next year, there will be opportunities to create new markets in the artificial intelligence market, innovative manufacturing, and investment in the power grid in the United States and Latin America.

It is also expected that the branded Hallyu craze, such as Korean consumer goods and Korean-style apartments, will be an opportunity.

At the same time, the Department of Industry also shared major countries' trends in preparing for uncertainty after the launch of the new U.S. government with commerce officials from major exporting countries.

Trade Minister Jeong In-kyo said, "Based on large-scale investment by Korean companies, the Korea-U.S. relationship has developed into a high-tech industrial and economic alliance," adding, "Based on this, we will find mutually beneficial cooperation and new opportunities for Korean companies."
