Yonsei University Appeals for Cancellation of 'Suspension of the Effectiveness of Arguments' on

Yonsei University has applied for the cancellation of the court's decision to suspend the effectiveness of the test in connection with the controversy over the leakage of essay questions in the natural field of early admission for the 2025 academic year.

The Seoul Western District Court received an application yesterday (2nd) from Yonsei University to cancel the decision to cite the provisional injunction to suspend the validity of the essay test.

Cancellation of provisional disposition can be applied when there is a special change in circumstances after the provisional disposition decision.

Yonsei University has decided to hold an additional test on the 8th as a follow-up to the controversy over the leakage of essay questions, so it seems that it has taken measures to announce the first successful candidates as scheduled.

The hearing will take place on the 5th, the same day as the main lawsuit asking for invalidation of the test.

Earlier, the court cited an injunction suit by the examinee asking for the suspension of the effectiveness of the test, and Yonsei University immediately filed an appeal with the Seoul High Court when the objection was not accepted.

On the 29th of last month, the test takers changed the purpose of the main lawsuit from "fulfillment of the retest" to "confirmation of invalidity of the test," saying that the additional test, not the first test, should be recognized as an official test.
