People's Power also filed an injunction today to seek a power dispute trial and suspend its effect until the results are released in protest of the Democratic Party's revision of the National Assembly rules that exclude the ruling party from the recommendation of permanent special prosecutors.

Yoo Sang-beom, a member of the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee, told reporters in front of the Constitutional Court that the revised rules are against political neutrality and violate the president's right to appoint the president in that they are set by law.

Earlier, floor leader Choo Kyung-ho also criticized the revised rules at the floor meeting as a trick to seize the right to investigate and prosecute the Democratic Party's taste.

The amendment, which passed the plenary session of the National Assembly on the 28th of last month, excluded two of the seven candidate recommendation committee members from the permanent special prosecution in cases involving the president or his family.

The ruling party has been considering legal action since the permanent special prosecution does not need to enact or amend the special prosecution law, and the revision of the National Assembly rules is not subject to the exercise of the president's right to request reconsideration.
