Martial Law Command Declaration (No. 1)

In order to protect liberal democracy from the threat of subversion of the Korean system by anti-state forces that are secretly weak inside the Republic of Korea, and to protect the safety of the people, the following are declared throughout the Republic of Korea as of 23:00 on December 3, 2024.

1. Prohibits all political activities such as the activities of the National Assembly, local councils, and political parties, political associations, rallies, and protests.

2. Prohibits any act of denying the liberal democratic system or attempting to overthrow it, and prohibits fake news, manipulation of public opinion, and false instigation.

3. All media and publications are controlled by martial law history.

4. Do not strike, neglect, or gatherings that promote social chaos.

5. All medical personnel who are on strike or have left the medical field, including medical doctors, return to their main job within 48 hours and work faithfully, and in case of violation, they shall be punished by martial law.

6. Except for anti-state forces, good ordinary people, such as anti-state forces, take measures to minimize inconvenience in their daily lives.

Violators of the above proclamation may be arrested, detained, or seized and searched without a warrant under Article 9 of the Korean Martial Law (Special Measures for the Commander of the martial law), and shall be punished under Article 14 (Penalty) of the Martial Law.
