In connection with President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law, the National Federation of Democratic Trade Unions has said it will go on an indefinite general strike.

Starting with a press conference at 8 a.m. today, the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions said it would continue an indefinite general strike until the Yoon Suk Yeol regime steps down.

In addition, members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions added that they will stop the site in accordance with the guidelines for the general strike and carry out emergency actions for social reform and the realization of national sovereignty.

He then asked the members of the Seoul metropolitan area to gather at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul by 9 a.m.
