President Yoon Suk Yeol said in a further statement early this morning that he would lift martial law in response to the National Assembly's demand for it to be lifted, and that he had also withdrawn martial law troops.President

Yoon said in a recorded video at around 4:30 a.m. today that he declared an emergency martial law as of 11 a.m. last night, determined to counter the anti-state forces that want to paralyze the essential functions of the state and collapse the liberal democratic constitutional order.

However, he said he withdrew the military that had been put into martial law due to the National Assembly's demand to lift martial law, and that he would immediately accept the National Assembly's demands and lift martial law.

However, he called a cabinet meeting, but he said he would lift martial law as soon as he came, saying that the quorum of the decision was not met due to the dawn.President

Yoon added that although martial law will be lifted, he asked the National Assembly to immediately stop the atrocities that paralyze the function of the state through repeated impeachment, legislative and budgetary manipulation.

Earlier at 10:23 p.m. last night, President Yoon declared martial law through an emergency public statement, and when the resolution to lift martial law was passed by the National Assembly at 1 a.m., he issued an additional position at around 4:30 a.m. today, three and a half hours later.
