Park met with reporters at the National Assembly after President Yoon's announcement of lifting the emergency martial law, saying, "Even if martial law is lifted, rebellion cannot be avoided."

President Yoon then pointed out that it was clear to the whole nation that he could no longer run the state administration normally.

Cho Kuk, chairman of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, also claimed that the emergency martial law was a failed coup caused by the pro-Park forces of President Yoon, and that he should be suspended from his duties and arrested as a current offender for rebellion.
