Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok convened key executives to hold an emergency meeting and discuss countermeasures regarding the declaration of emergency martial law.

Mayor Yoo presided over the meeting for about an hour at Incheon City Hall from 11:20 p.m. last night, shortly after the declaration of the emergency martial law, attended by the deputy mayor of political affairs, the head of the civil safety division, the head of the planning and coordination office, and the head of the administrative bureau.

Mayor Yoo said at the meeting, "First of all, please do your best not to interfere with local safety and citizens' livelihoods."

The Incheon Fire Department urgently ordered all Incheon fire departments to be fully prepared for dispatch in accordance with the declaration of emergency martial law.

We have strengthened the vigilance and security of important facilities, including the fire office building, and refrained from unnecessary business trips by fire officials.

The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency also convened executives from related departments such as counter-terrorism, commandos, and task forces after the declaration of emergency martial law and ordered employees to wait for emergency at home.
