Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon has canceled his business trip to India and Malaysia, which was scheduled for six nights and eight days from today, and is closely watching the situation in relation to the emergency martial law scandal.

Mayor Oh came to the office of Seoul City Hall last night to hold an emergency meeting with mayors, including the first deputy mayor of the administration, the second deputy mayor of the administration, and the deputy mayor of political affairs, in connection with President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law.

Mayor Oh earlier opposed Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of martial law shortly after the meeting and said it should be withdrawn.

Mayor Oh also stressed that he will do his best to protect the daily lives of citizens.
