The Federation of Korean Trade Unions strongly criticized President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law, saying it crossed a river that cannot be returned.
In a statement, the Federation of Korean Trade Unions said, "All citizens are puzzled by the incredible situation of emergency martial law in South Korea in 2024," and asked who is actually putting the country in crisis and confusion.
He then said he would hold an emergency central executive committee to sort out his future position.
