Regarding the declaration and lifting of emergency martial law, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said the city will do its best to ensure that it does not interfere with citizens' stable daily lives.

Mayor Oh posted on his SNS today (4th) and said, "All administrative services in Seoul are operating normally and will not interfere with daily life such as transportation, security, firefighting, and public medical care."

He then emphasized that he would work closely with the police to focus on safety in the event of a disorderly situation.

Mayor Oh canceled his business trip to India and Malaysia, which had been scheduled for six nights and eight days from today, and urgently convened an emergency meeting of mayors last night to keep an eye on the situation.
