There is also a critical response from inside and outside the U.S. political circle to the six-hour martial law crisis in Korea.

The think tank CSIS analyzed that Yoon Suk Yeol's political survival was uncertain, and Rep. Andy Kim, the first Korean-American to be elected to the U.S. Senate, spoke out that it had weakened the foundation of people's rule.

This is an analysis of President Yoon's declaration of martial law by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.

South Korean chairmen Victor Cha and Andy Lim said the possibility of Yoon's political survival in the country is uncertain at this time.

He also analyzed that the spread of street protests could bring about the end of President Yoon, with his approval rating in the 10% range.

North Korea also predicted the possibility of provocation, saying it is certain that it will exploit the confusion.

Representative Andy Kim, the first Korean to be elected to the U.S. Senate in the election along with the U.S. presidential election, also spoke out.

In a statement, Rep. Andy Kim criticized President Yoon's declaration of emergency martial law for weakening the fundamental foundation of people's rule and increasing the nation's vulnerability.

He also stressed that democracy always poses challenges, but must be addressed through a democratic and open process.

Academia also analyzed that it will have an adverse impact on the Korea-U.S. relationship.

The U.S. emphasized that the strong South Korea-U.S. alliance remains unchanged, but there are also concerns that the U.S. government will have a different perception of the South Korean government about the martial law incident in the allies about a month before the regime change.
