Representative Han Dong-hoon told reporters after the emergency meeting of lawmakers, saying that the two proposals he proposed earlier at the Supreme Council gathered opinions from lawmakers.
However, he said that there were many opinions on the demand for Yoon Suk Yeol's defection, so he decided to continue to listen to the opinions.
Regarding the opposition parties, including the Democratic Party, accusing the president of rebellion and saying they would pursue impeachment, he declined to say that it could be confusing to explain each and every one of the Democratic Party's claims.
In response, Representative Choo Kyung-ho, the representative of the National Assembly, said, "We will hold another general meeting at an appropriate time today afternoon (4th), explaining that we will understand the situation of the Democratic Party and gather opinions from lawmakers."
