Major retailers such as Shinsegae, Lotte, and CJ Group held an emergency status check meeting to respond to the aftermath of the emergency martial law crisis.

Shinsegae Group presided over the management strategy office to understand the overall situation of the group due to external environmental instability and discuss countermeasures.

Lotte Group and CJ Group are also closely monitoring the impact on exports as a whole, holding emergency meetings by affiliates.

Food exporters such as Samyang Foods and Lotte Well Food are also reportedly discussing countermeasures while looking at overseas consumer reactions.

According to an industry official, there are voices of concern that exports will be affected by the deterioration of the external image due to the emergency martial law situation at a time when interest in our culture is high.
