The Democratic Party of Korea said it has decided to set up a "martial room" in the party in preparation for the possibility of a recurrence of the situation after weighing the emergency martial law process declared by President Yoon Suk Yeol.

After the closed-door Supreme Council meeting, Lee Jae-myung said that it is very likely that such an emergency situation will occur again and that he proposed the formation of the situation room himself because he needs accurate information analysis.

Ahn Kyu-baek, a five-term lawmaker of the National Assembly's National Defense Committee, decided to take charge of the situation, but Ahn explained that he would try to track who martial law forces were trying to arrest by receiving intelligence or information.
