A People's Power official from the National Defense Commission said in a call that the Democratic Party has submitted a request for the opening of a pending question to find out the progress of the declaration of emergency martial law and the process of mobilizing troops.

Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo, who served as martial law commander, and Defense Commander Lee Jin-woo are expected to be eligible to attend.

The National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee will also hold urgent questions on police response to Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min, National Police Agency Commissioner Jo Ji-ho, and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Kim Bong-sik tomorrow.

In the current questionnaire, issues such as police's control of access to lawmakers after President Yoon's declaration of martial law are expected to be major issues.
