Rep. Kim Yong-min of the Democratic Party and Hwang Un-ha of the Innovation Party submitted the impeachment bill to the National Assembly's agenda this afternoon (4th).
All 191 opposition lawmakers participated in the impeachment motion, except for the People's Power.
The Democratic Party plans to report the impeachment bill to the plenary session tomorrow (5th) and put it to a vote as early as the day after tomorrow.
According to the National Assembly Act, the impeachment bill must be voted on within 72 hours after 24 hours from the report of the plenary session, and it will be passed if more than two-thirds of the registered lawmakers approve it.
