Mrs. Koo, who died of old age, was born the eldest daughter of Koo Cheol-hoe, the first brother of the late LG founder Koo In-hoe, and married the late GS E&C Honorary Chairman Heo Jun-koo, the third son of the late GS founder Heo Man-jeong, in 1945.
The mortuary was followed by pan-LG families, including LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, LS Group Chairman Koo Ja-eun, LX Group Chairman Koo Bon-joon, and LS Group Chairman Koo Ja-yeol.
Business leaders, including Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin, Hyundai Group Chairman Hyun Jung-eun, and HDC Group Chairman Chung Mong-kyu, visited the mortuary.
In politics, former President Lee Myung Bak and former Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum visited the mortuary.
