The strike zone is expected to be slightly lower from professional baseball next season.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced that the 6th Executive Committee adjusted the strike zone and finalized the pitch clock detailed regulations.

The automatic pitching determination system, ABS strike zone, is lowered by 0.6%p at both the top and bottom, which will be about 1cm lower for 180cm in height.

It is a form that decreases overall without changing the size of the strike zone.

For the pitch clock, which will be officially introduced next season, detailed regulations have been prepared, such as setting the pitch interval between pitchers to 20 seconds when there is no runner and 25 seconds when there is.

At the same time, KBO decided to introduce a video review of the check swing at some stadiums in the Futures League next season.

The revision of the rules will be finalized after discussion at the KBO Rules Committee.
