Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho told reporters after a general meeting of lawmakers that he has confirmed his opposition to President Yoon's impeachment bill.
Asked if he would consider not attending the impeachment vote, he said he would make a final decision on the specific method of expressing his opinion through the previous general meeting once the date of the vote is set.
However, he declined to say the reason for opposing impeachment, saying, "I will tell you later."
When asked if he agreed to reject the impeachment motion, Han Dong-hoon, who left during the general meeting, explained that he actually said so, but he sent it by text because he couldn't reach him well.
