Participants gathered at a candlelight vigil hosted by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups marched to the vicinity of the Yongsan Triangle, where the presidential office is located, calling for the resignation and impeachment of President Yoon.
Citizens also gathered in front of the National Assembly's main office, where hundreds of armed martial law troops broke through windows overnight.

The two major umbrella unions and civic groups that led the rally said they would continue to hold rallies and marches at the same place in the future, so the candles of citizens gathered on the streets are not expected to go out for a while.
