[Weather] Heavy snow warning for mountainous areas in central and southern Gangwon Province...Up to 10cm of snow.

Following the mountains in northern Gangwon Province, a heavy snow warning was issued from 3 p.m. today in the mountains in central and southern Gangwon Province.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) predicted that while 1 to 5cm of snow is currently falling mainly in the mountains of Gangwon-do, there will be places where up to 10cm of snow will accumulate by early tomorrow morning in the special report area.

In addition, about 1cm of snow will fall in the mountains of northeast Gyeongsangbuk-do and the east coast of northern Gangwon-do, while 5-20mm of rain is expected on the other east coast.
