With a heavy snow warning in the mountains of Gangwon-do, up to 5cm more snow is expected overnight.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) predicted that 1 to 5cm of snow fell mainly in the mountains of Gangwon-do, and 1 to 5cm more fell as snow clouds became stronger overnight.

In addition, about 1cm of snow will fall in the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and 5-10mm of rain is expected on the east coast.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) asked people to pay attention to sliding accidents, saying that overnight temperatures are falling and ice sheets and road thin ice are expected around Gangwon Mountain Road and the East Coast.
