The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters announced today (11th) that it has decided to operate a "cooperation investigation headquarters" with the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the Ministry of National Defense's investigation headquarters.
The prosecution's special investigation headquarters were not included in the collaboration.
The police explained that the joint investigation headquarters will cooperate with each agency by taking advantage of its strengths, such as the investigation experience of the National Defense Agency, the right to claim warrants from the Airborne Division, and the military expertise of the Ministry of National Defense's investigation headquarters.
He also said he would solve the confusion and inefficiency caused by duplicate investigations.
