The Overseas Koreans Literature Award Ceremony was held today (11th) at Songdo Overseas Korean Office in Incheon to support overseas Koreans' creative activities in Korean literature and discover emerging writers.
At the 26th Overseas Korean Literature Awards this year, 13 people, including writers Jang Hye-young, Cho Sung-guk, and Lee Myung-ran, were honored in three categories: poetry, short stories, essays, and essays.
Lee Ji-young, a compatriot living in Jordan who won the Excellence Award in essay and essay categories, expressed her ambition to participate in the awards ceremony and write articles to encourage the discouraged in the future, unlike other winners who participated in the awards online.
