Following the 10th, the special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law is investigating Yeo In-hyeong, commander of counterintelligence, as a suspect today (12th).
Commander Yeo is suspected of sending counterintelligence troops and agents to the National Assembly and the Central Election Commission under the direction of former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun during martial law and attempting to secure the whereabouts of key figures such as politicians.
The prosecution, which previously raided counterintelligence offices in Seoul and Gwacheon, plans to question Commander Yeo on how he mobilized martial law troops on the 3rd and whether he planned in advance.
In this regard, Commander Yeo said in a written position that it was not true at all that the counterintelligence agency had planned and prepared martial law in advance.
