SLL Sets Up New Music Label 'Uncore'...Support for the debut group of "Project 7".

SLL will establish a new music label and expand into the music business in earnest.

SLL officially announced today (12th) the establishment of a new music label 'UNCORE' with YG PLUS. "Uncore" is an idol-specialized agency established under SLL and its main business is music content production, performance planning, and music and record distribution. YG PLUS will cooperate to support the expansion of global fandom and systematic domestic and international activities.

The first artist of "Uncore" is the debut group of seven finalists for the survival audition "PRODUCT 7," which is currently broadcast on JTBC, and plans to expand its scope to music, album, performance, and IP business starting with management activities in the first half of 2025.

In addition, 'Uncore' will strengthen its competitiveness as a K-pop entertainment agency and establish its position in the global market through broadcasting projects and its own rookie development following 'PROJECT 7'.

In this regard, an SLL official said, "The establishment of Uncore will be a big stepping stone for SLL to grow from its existing drama production and distribution-oriented business structure to a global IP powerhouse," adding, "We will internalize our music business capabilities and continue to secure artists through follow-up projects."
