Rep. Park Sun-won of the Democratic Party of Korea raised suspicions that Cho Tae-yong, the head of the National Intelligence Service, ordered a special inspection against Hong Jang-won, the former first deputy chief of the National Intelligence Service.

Rep. Park claimed in an interview on a YouTube channel that he received a report from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. yesterday (11th), and that Director Cho said, "Search through all the little corruption of Deputy Chief Hong."

Director Cho then pointed out that the NIS insider did not report it, and that he should not hit his stern subordinates again.

Earlier on the 6th, Hong revealed that during martial law, President Yoon Suk Yeol ordered him to "catch everything and organize it," and that he also received a list of arrest targets from the counterintelligence command to track the location.

However, Cho denied that he had received direct orders from President Yoon to arrest politicians.
