As the vote on the impeachment motion of President Yoon Suk Yeol approaches, there is an atmosphere in which opinions in favor of impeachment are spreading more within the ruling party.

More and more lawmakers are expressing their public approval, and as representative Han Dong-hoon has also turned to approval, the scale of departure from the rejection party is expected to be greater.

After President Yoon's public statement, which virtually refused to leave early, there were additional voices within the ruling party that they would vote in favor of the upcoming second impeachment.

Following Rep. Jin Jong-oh, who serves as the party's supreme council member, held a press conference first to express his position,
Member for ∀}[Jin Jong-oh / People's Power]: I'm going to vote for it. I would like to emphasize that it is a decision to protect the constitutional spirit and democracy of the Republic of Korea.

Representative Han Ji-ah also expressed her willingness to participate in the vote and correct it, saying that the president's future is the people's choice, not themselves.

The previously set "opposition party theory" has become virtually meaningless, with seven lawmakers who have publicly expressed their approval of the impeachment bill.

In addition, as representative Han Dong-hoon shifted his position, saying that he should support impeachment with party opinions, some predict that the move to leave the country will accelerate further, especially among the close circle.

[Jeong Seong-guk / People's Power] I think it's likely to increase. The announcement made by the president was a bit shocking and obviously disappointing to the public..]

[Jang Dong-hyuk / Supreme Council Member for People's Power] Things have changed about impeachment. Watching the discussions within the party....]

In fact, even after reconfirming the opposition party's opposition to the fourth Kim Special Prosecutor Act and the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act, it is not easy to crack down on votes, with a flurry of breakaway votes within the ruling party.

In the end, the position on the second impeachment is expected to be decided after a general meeting of lawmakers.

However, as more than 20 lawmakers have already expressed their intention to participate in the vote, analysts say that it has become impossible to participate in the large-scale absence as in the first impeachment vote.
