In order to minimize the impact of the political situation on the economy, the government has decided to support tourism to Korea and to operate a policy response team for damage to small business owners.

The government held a second TF meeting yesterday at the Seoul Government Complex presided over by Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance Kim Beom-seok to discuss such countermeasures.

The government has decided to spread the message that tourism to Korea is safe overseas and support tourism to Korea by operating a joint public-private tourism situation class centered on the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In addition, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and other related ministries will launch a joint policy response team for small business owners' livelihood damage to ease the burden on small business owners, including field difficulties.

At the same time, the Ministry of Economy and Finance said it will strengthen monitoring of disruptions in production and exports caused by strikes and support stability in labor-management relations within the framework of laws and principles.
