According to the YTN report, police chief Jo Ji-ho recently stated that he was asked to track the location of about 15 people by Yeo In-hyeong, commander of the counterintelligence command, immediately after the declaration of martial law during the investigation of the National Investigation Headquarters' special investigation team, among them the name "Kim Dong-hyun."
When asked who Cho was because he was unfamiliar with his name, Commander Yeo reportedly answered that he was a judge who acquitted Lee Jae-myung of perjury.
It has been known that major politicians, such as Lee Jae-myung and Han Dong-hoon, representatives of the People's Power, have been included in the list of attempts to arrest martial law forces, but this is the first time that incumbent judges have been revealed.
In this regard, Cho protested in a phone call with YTN that President Yoon Suk Yeol and the counterintelligence command repeatedly demanded the arrest of major politicians, but Cho protested that he was prepared to resign.
In particular, Commander Yeo In-hyeong explained that Cho repeatedly pressured Cho through the National Investigation Headquarters' security inspection when he did not comply with the location tracking request, but Cho refused even to do so.
In this regard, Commissioner Cho reportedly stated in a police investigation that the executive chased the chief's office and asked "What should I do when the counterintelligence agency keeps changing?" but clearly ordered that "it should not be given."
In addition, during the Samcheong-dong Anga meeting on the 3rd, President Yoon unilaterally talked about the need for martial law for five minutes and then gave only one command letter in A4 paper, claiming that it was not a "collusion."
However, Commissioner Cho said, "I am sorry that I hid my false statement that I knew about the declaration of martial law after watching TV and that I met with the president three hours before the declaration of martial law," adding that I will not give up and accept it when the warrant is reviewed."
