Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho told YTN that shortly after martial law was declared, Yeo In-hyeong, commander of counterintelligence, asked to track the location of about 15 people, including the name "Kim Dong-hyun."
Cho asked who it was because it was an unfamiliar name, and Commander Yeo answered that Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, was not guilty of perjury, Cho explained.
Earlier, it was reported that the list of attempts to arrest martial law forces included major politicians, including Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party, and Han Dong-hoon, chairman of the People's Power, and this is the first time that an incumbent judge was also subject to arrest.
In response, the police special team explained that Cho's statement does not contain such information, and that it is necessary to keep checking this.
Cho's side also argued that the conspiracy relationship is not recognized, saying that Cho has advanced the end of the martial law crisis by making three appeals regarding emergency martial law.
Cho said President Yoon handed over A4 paper with institutions such as the National Assembly and MBC at a meeting three hours before martial law, but he thought it was nonsense and tore it apart.
After martial law was declared, the counterintelligence commander called and asked for support for 100 security investigators, location information of key figures, and support for NEC expenses, but refused to support investigators and location information.
In addition, even after the declaration of martial law, the president called six times and said that he should arrest lawmakers because it was a violation of martial law, but he also ignored it because he thought it was nonsense.
