The impeachment vote, which will determine the fate of Yoon Suk Yeol's president, is just a day away.

In various parts of Seoul, rallies and press conferences by progressive and conservative groups are continuing.

Let's connect with reporters and hear more details.

Reporter Yang Dong-hoon, large-scale rallies are being held again today, right?

[Reporter]
Yes, after this emergency martial law incident, large-scale rallies have been held every day on Capitol Boulevard in front of the National Assembly.

Today, a rally will be held from 6 p.m. to demand the immediate resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol, impeachment, and punishment, led by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups.

From 10 a.m., the People's Power Party also held the Retired Bus Opening Ceremony.

They took the bus and went around the offices of lawmakers of the People's Power in Seoul, including Na Kyung-won and Kwon Young-se, and attached a banner asking if they would remain accomplices in the civil war.

Students' gatherings are also continuing.

First of all, at 11:30 a.m., 33 youth organizations and 4 civic groups gathered in front of the presidential office in Yongsan and shouted, "President Yoon should step down immediately."

College students also gathered at Kyung Hee University's International Campus and Dongduk Women's University to announce the state of affairs.

From 6 p.m., student councils from more than 30 universities across the country, including Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University, will gather in Sinchon, Seoul to hold a rally to condemn illegal martial law and urge the resignation of the regime.

Catholicism, Buddhism, Won Buddhism, and Christian organizations also held a press conference in front of the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-shin in Gwanghwamun from 2 p.m. to call for impeachment.

There will also be a counter-claim.

Conservative groups, including the Liberty Korea Party, are holding a rally in front of the Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Gwanghwamun today.

They argue that emergency martial law is a constitutional decision and an act of governance, and that it was an inevitable choice, not a civil war.

As various rallies continue in various places, roads may be closed or congested, so when using a vehicle, please check the traffic conditions in advance.
