Prosecutors investigate Yeongdeungpo chief regarding "counterintelligence agency - public offering of noodles"

The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law summoned Kang Sang-moon, chief of Yeongdeungpo, as a reference this afternoon to investigate.

Prosecutors are looking into whether the Defense Security Command has contacted the National Police Agency for so-called "arrest assistance" activities since the declaration of emergency martial law on the night of the 3rd and asked the National Assembly to deploy police personnel.

In this regard, the prosecution is said to investigate Chief Kang on what instructions he received from the National Police Agency at the time and whether the actual deployment was made in addition to sending a list of 10 violent criminals.

The prosecution is also known to have investigated Yoon Seung-young, the investigation planning coordinator of the National Headquarters, and Jeon Chang-hoon, the investigation planning officer, yesterday (12th).

Counterintelligence Temple was pointed out as an attempt to arrest key political figures, including National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung, and People's Power leader Han Dong-hoon at the time of the emergency martial law.

It is understood that all employees of Yeongdeungpo Police Station were called to work for the National Assembly security after the emergency martial law was declared on the night of the 3rd.
