Highly pathogenic AI confirmed at the beef duck farm in Buan.

The H5 type avian influenza antigen from the meat duck farm in Baeksan-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, has been confirmed to be highly pathogenic.

Jeonbuk Province sent an initial response team to the farm to bury 22,000 ducks, and imposed movement restrictions on 2 million chickens and ducks within a 10-kilometer radius.

This is the 10th time since October that highly pathogenic AI has been confirmed at poultry farms nationwide.
