Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 84, was hospitalized after being injured during a visit to Europe.
Pelosi, who was visiting Luxembourg, was injured during an official exchange event and was examined at a hospital, a spokesperson for the former speaker said in a statement.
Former Speaker Pelosi's side, however, did not disclose the specific injury and condition.
Pelosi, who won her 20th term in the House of Representatives election with the presidential election last month, is 84 years old this year and a leading senior politician in the U.S. political circle.
