A permanent market for agricultural and fishery products in South Jeolla Province opened near the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.

The stores opened this time are the fourth permanent stores in Jeollanam-do in Europe after Vienna, Austria, Frankfurt, Germany, and Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The store features representative foods from Jeollanam-do, such as rice and squid snacks, seaweed, and citron tea produced in Damyang.

Since 2017, Jeollanam-do has opened permanent stores in the United States, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia one after another, and has recently expanded to Europe to operate 31 locations in 13 countries around the world.

South Jeolla Province's exports of agricultural and fishery products to Europe reached $33.28 million in October, up 20.5 percent from the previous year.
